Kay Azman

Vice President, Student Health Division

Kay Azman (BA ’79, The College of St. Catherine) co-founded one of CIR’s precursor companies, Specialty Risk Group International, Inc., in 1993. She is now Vice President of the student health division and develops creative and innovative plan designs for various student health insurance markets.

Before starting Specialty Risk Group, Kay was a vice president with AON/PBA, Inc., formerly Alexander and Alexander, where she specialized in direct response marketing and telemarketing, account relations and sales for association and special risk accounts.

When she is away from her work, she enjoys her cabin in Wisconsin, spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and her volunteer work as a member of the Board of Directors of the Arthritis Foundation.

Judith A. Carton

Vice President, Student Health Division

Judith Carton (BS ’72, San Diego State University) joined SRC, one of the precursor companies to CIR, in 2004. She specializes in developing managed care strategies for our clients as well as expanding new business development and providing field service to clients.

Before joining SRC, Judith spent over twenty-five years in the healthcare field, which includes being the Employee Benefit Manager for General Dynamics and the Director of Account Management and Business Development for Beech Street Corporation and CCN, two national Preferred Provider Organizations. Ms. Carton brings her expertise in working with PPO’s and managed healthcare to the company.

In her free time, Judith likes to play golf, travel and cook.

Rita Linde

Vice President, Student Health Division

Rita Linde (BA ’76, University of Minnesota) co-founded one of CIR’s precursor companies, Specialty Risk Group International, Inc., in 1993. She is now Vice President of the student health division and works closely with existing and prospective clients in order to meet the insurance needs of the institutions’ most valuable assets, their students.

Prior to co-founding Specialty Risk Group, Rita was a Vice President with AON/PBA, Inc., formerly Alexander and Alexander, where she spear headed the insurer marketing efforts for the association marketplace. Rita managed the student health insurance programs incorporating both medical and property and casualty programs. Rita now uses her expertise in insurer marketing to negotiate plan changes and competitive rates for clients.

Rita spends her free time camping, kayaking, gardening and enjoying her grandchildren.

Richard P. Seufer

Vice President, Student Health Division

Richard Seufer (BA ’86 the University of Texas, MBA ’91 the University of Chicago) joined SRC, one of the precursor companies to CIR, in 1992. He is instrumental in the maintenance of the firm’s proprietary claim forecasting models and is responsible for new business development and providing field service to clients.

He helps clients develop student health insurance programs and has the ability to deliver sharp, financially sound, objective assistance for clients faced with challenging situations.

Richard spends his free time playing golf, and he enjoys opera and folk & bluegrass guitar.
